Our fellow Treklens Philippines member, Jovie Naval (jovienaval)is included in the Top 30 Finalist out of more than 500 participants all over the Philippines and has been selected by the board of judges in the recently concluded Children's Month Photo Contest with the theme:
Bright Child: "Karapatan Nasa 'Yo, Isigaw Sa Buong Mundo"
The awarding and exhibit was held in one of the SM Supermalls originally scheduled in SM Mall Of Asia on October 26,2007 but the venue was moved and realized in SM San Lazaro on November 6, 2007 - 2pm.
All the Top 30 Finalists will be given a Certificate of Recognition. It started when a TLP member, OgGie Duque (Shogun) informed Jovie Naval (jovienaval)that his picture was chosen last October 8, 2007 as TL Photo Of The Week #5 from Treklens Gallery. Coincidetally the Bright Child COntest was posted in the bulletin. With much confidence and a little push, he then joined the Bright Child Contest. And the rest is history.
About the picture....titled "Seeing Through". The picture shows the innocence of every child, frame by a tunnel. The child is exploring the other side of atunnel. Curiosity drove him to be there. Every child is a natural explorer. "Seeing Through"
